Services for Janice Warren Hobbs, age 59 of Cadwell will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Cadwell Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Al Haywood and Rev. Herman Williams will officiate. Mrs. Hobbs was a homemaker and a member of Cadwell Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Warren, Jr., and her husband, John Marshall Hobbs. Mrs. Hobbs passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2011. Survivors include her mother, Neva Scarborough Lane of Cadwell; step-daughter, Kathy (Harry) Russell of Rydal; step-son, Lenn (Joyce) Hobbs of Lawrenceville; two step-brothers, Russel (Tammy) Lane of Rentz and Eddie (Larie) Lane of McRae and niece Dana (Nathan) Burkhalter. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
