Services for Jeanne Yager Tribble, age 63, of Dublin will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Dublin, Ga. Dr. Cliff Morris and the Very Rev. Louis O. Miller, Jr. will officiate. Burial will be held privately at a later date. Mrs. Tribble was the daughter of the late Thomas Short Yager and the late Margaret Scarbrough Yager. She was a 1966 graduate of Briarcliff High School in Atlanta, Ga. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Wesleyan College in Macon, Ga. in 1970. She earned a Master of Education from Georgia College in Milledgeville, Ga. in 1975. She was employed as an elementary school teacher for DeKalb County, Ga., Madison County, Ga., and Hillcrest Elementary School in Dublin, Ga. Mrs. Tribble later worked as a paralegal in her husband's law firm. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two uncles, Ben (Jeanne) Yager and Guy Scarbrough. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Ellen Knight Sunday School Class, Christ Episcopal Church Food Bank, and the Dublin Service League. Mrs. Tribble died on Monday, December 26, 2011. Mrs. Tribble is survived by her husband of forty-one years, the Hon. William L. Tribble, Sr. of Dublin, Ga.; daughter Camille (Jim) Townsend of Dublin, Ga.; two sons, William L. "Jack" (Leigh-Ann) Tribble, Jr. of Dublin, Ga. and J. Cameron (Taylor) Tribble of Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters, Pamela Yager of Decatur, Ga. and Mary Yager of Ball Ground, Ga.; brother Radford (Becky) Yager of Camilla, Ga.; grandson, William L. Tribble, III of Dublin, Ga.; aunt Peggy (Malcom) Marion of Seguin, Tex.; two uncles, H. M. (De Lane) Yager of Cameron, Tex. and Bill (Dot) Yager of San Marcos, Tex.; nephew Clint (LeAnn) Yager of Valdosta, Ga.; niece Kimberly (Carmon) Boyer of Panama City, Fla.; several cousins; and caretakers, Ruby Givens of Soperton, Ga., Fredia Smith, Johnnie Jordan and Betty Willis, all of Dublin, Ga., and the employees of Serenity Hospice. Pallbearers will be Bill Edgar, Billy Daniel, Billy Chism, Pete Colbenson, Scott Beasley, John Strickland, Tommy Bobbitt, and Jack Baynes. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 29, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 405 Bellevue Avenue, Dublin, Ga. 31021 or to the Christ Episcopal Church Food Bank, 318 Academy Avenue, Dublin, Ga. 31021.
