Jeannette Sikes Branch, age 96, of Dublin, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 1, 2015 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Northview Cemetery. Dr. Al Daniell and Rev. Darren Talley will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM. Mrs. Branch was a member of Jefferson Street Baptist Church. She worked at J. P. Stevens for many years and at Sherrie's Hallmark for seventeen years. Tama, as she was fondly called by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, most enjoyed her family and the time she shared with each one. Mrs. Branch was preceded in death by her husband, I. J. Branch; parents, C. M. and Emma Lucretia Attaway Sikes; daughter, Carol Anne Branch and sisters, Mary Sikes Holmes, and Charlie Lou Sikes Churchwell. Survivors include her daughter, Sharlene (Frank) Brantley of Dublin; grandchildren, Vicki Brantley, Jay (Melissa) Brantley and Jim (Wendi) Brantley; great grandchildren, Kynlea Brantley, John Brantley and Maeson Brantley, all of Dublin. Donny Bradshaw, Don Bradshaw, Rickey Cantera, Larry Brantley, and Pete Richardson will serve as pallbearers.
