Jeffrey Brown, age 64 of East Dublin, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Rentz. Rev. Mike Mertz will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mr. Brown was a welder by trade. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving our country in Vietnam. He enjoyed welding, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, William T. and Elwanda Thomas Brown. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl D. Brown of East Dublin; daughter, Angela B. (Kevin) Holton of East Dublin; grandson, Aiden Holton of East Dublin; granddaughter, Kaelyn Holton of East Dublin; mother-in-law, Betty D. Hodges of Dublin; brothers-in-law, Terry (Pam) Dalton of Dublin and Rocky (Sharon) Dalton of Dublin; sister-in-law, Dena (Stanley) Jessup of East Dublin and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Rocky Dalton, Emory Lake, Dwayne Lake, Bill Harrell, Ricky Moore and Jimmy Price. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Dalton and Al Williams.
