Services for Jerry H. Daniel, age 75, of Dublin, will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Poplar Springs North Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Northview Cemetery. Rev. Robert Rogers and Rev. Cole Morris will officiate. Mr. Daniel passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2012. Mr. Daniel retired from Farmer's Furniture as a Transportation Supervisor after 26 years of dedicated service. He was a member of Poplar Springs North Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hancel Daniel and Annie Mae Radney Daniel; son, Steve "Wormy" Daniel; and brother, James Earl Daniel. He is survived by his wife, Jane Sawyer Daniel; son, Kenneth E. (Darlene) Daniel; step-sons, Tony (Teresa) Hammock and Scott Hammock; five grandchildren, Ashley (Robbie) Petrie, Kassie Daniel, Brittany Daniel, Brandy (Danny) Hinson, and Caden Hammock; three great-grandchildren, Oliver Petrie, Savannah Hinson, and Bobby Lee Hinson; brother, Ronald (Janice) Daniel; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles, all of Dublin. Chris Howell, Adam Gay, Robbie Petrie, Bill Middlebrooks, Jesse Joiner, Brad Ely, Wade Daniel, and Rob Sawyer will serve as pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be made to Poplar Springs North Baptist Church, Building Fund, 289 Hwy. 338, Dublin, Ga. 31021 or to Serenity Hospice, 510 Bellevue Avenue, Dublin, Ga. 31021. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
