Jerry Allen White, age 62, of Dublin, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015. Services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, December 4, 2015 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rentz City Cemetery. Rev. Paul Wilkes will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until funeral hour at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Joshua, Jordan and Jacob White, Steven Knight, Sammy Braswell and Henry Elvine. Mr. White served in the Army National Guard and was a retired investigator with the Laurens County Sheriff's Department. He enjoyed working outdoors and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Forrest and Sally Oliver White and a brother, James "Jimmy" William White. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Knight White of Rentz; sons, Brian White (Alicia) of Cadwell and Jeremy White (Megan) of Rentz; grandchildren, Brody White and Emelia White, both of Cadwell, Katelyn Alligood of Dexter, Austyn White of Gray and Olivia White of Rentz; brothers, Robert White (Karen) of Dublin and Larry White of Kite; sister, Beverly Hayes of New Port News, VA and several nieces and nephews.
