Jimmie Elaine Roberts, age 76, of Dublin, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

A native of Laurens County, Mrs. Roberts was born on August 4, 1948, to the late James and Lois Ellington Crowder. She worked at Rockwell Automation and Hill Realty before retirement. She was a member of Charity Baptist Church and enjoyed going to the beach and spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William "Buddy" Roberts, and sister, Joy Weber.

Survivors include her daughter, Nichol Upshaw (Jack) of East Dublin; step-sons, Cliff Roberts (Holley) and Marvin Webster (Ursula); grandchildren, Hillary Kennison (Nathan), Jordan Upshaw (Makenna Mabrey), Ansley Roberts, Ford Roberts, and Sierra Webster; great-grandchildren, Claire and Stella  Kennison; sisters, Mary Darby and Jean Collins; brother, Mike Crowder (Pat), and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 31, 2024, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Charity Baptist Church. A funeral service will begin at 2 PM followed by the burial at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Tim Powell will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Idris McGouirk, Dr. Mike Karoly, Ben McWhorter, Brian Carter, Hugh Kight, and Terry Cobb.
