Joanne S. Luecke, of Dublin passed away suddenly, August 16, 2016 at Fairview Park Hospital.

Mrs. Luecke was a member of Poplar Springs North Baptist Church and the Emanuel Sunday School Class. She was retired from Colleen's Flower and Bridal Shop.

Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, James A. Strickland, Sr. and Carrie O'Neal Strickland, infant son, Edwin Lee Spurling, Jr., many brothers and sisters; James A. Strickland, Jr., W.L. Strickland, Robert Strickland, Russell Strickland, Billy Strickland, Moye Strickland, Pet Baggett, Martha Tanner and Nell Maddox.

She is survived by her husband Tim Luecke of Dublin, daughter; Tonya Luecke Hudson of Dublin son; Ben Luecke (Jennifer) of Dublin, grandchildren; Morgan Hudson of Myrtle Beach, SC, Taylor Hudson, Lydia Luecke, Ava Luecke all of Dublin, sisters; Rebecca White, Nannette Kimbell both of Dublin, sister in law, Linda Strickland of Dublin, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, August 19, 2016, at 10:00 am at Poplar Springs North Baptist Church, Family Life Center. Rev. Rusty Stewart, Rev. Robert Rogers and Lock Wilford will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Ryan Strickland, Andy Kimbell, Jeremy Payne, Chad Payne, Benjamin Strickland, and Danny Strickland will serve as pallbearers. The Emanuel Sunday School Class will serve as honoray pallbearers.

The family will be at the Luecke home and will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home
