Mr. John "Jack" L. Hillis, age 71, passed away, Friday, November 1, 2013. He was a native of Petrolia, Ontario, Canada and had made his home in Dublin, Georgia since 1984. He is preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Denyse Ann and Danny Page. He is survived by his wife, Kit Hillis; daughter, Shannon (Charles) Blankenbeckler of Wilmington, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Meagan Dawn, Summer, Jordan, Grant and Carson; brother, Earl Hillis and sister, Maxine Caven and their families all of Ontario, Canada. A memorial service will be forthcoming.
