John Earnest Jones, age 75, passed away on February 01, 2023. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, on Sunday, February 05, 2023 at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home with a visitation an hour prior to the service.

Mr. Jones retired from the Army, with military honors, as a highly decorated First Sergeant. He also retired as a service technician at Middle Georgia Business Products.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Catherine Jones; and his wife; Donna Jones.

John Jones was survived in life by his daughter, Roseanne (Scott) Crosslin; mother-in-law, Sadie (Preston) Tyson; and grandchildren, Scottie and Raegan Crosslin.
