Services for John A. Manning, age 89, of Dublin, will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 31, 2016, in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bluewater Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Ronnie Powell will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM. Mr. Manning died Friday, October 28, 2016.

Mr. Manning, a U S Army veteran and retired truck driver, was a member of First Baptist Church of East Dublin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Arthur and Gussie Manning; sisters, Johnnie Bracewell, Opal Stinson, and Jewell Browning, and brothers, Doyle Manning, and Earl Manning.

Survivors include his children, John Arthur (Robbie) Manning, of Macon, and Van Oliver (Casey) Manning, of Dublin; and grandsons, Colby Manning, of East Dublin, Logan Manning, and Landen Manning, both of Dublin.

Steve Manning, Henry Manning, Randy McCullars, Paul Towns, Crain Couey, Billy Hutcheson, and Colby Manning, will serve as pallbearers.
