Graveside Services for Johnnie Mae Currie Dunn, age 89, of East Dublin, GA, will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Northview Cemetery. David Currie and Rev. Kyle Giddens will officiate. Mrs. Dunn was a member of Olivet Baptist Church and a graduate of Olivet School. She loved fishing and gardening. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Dunn was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Lamar Currie and Evie Ellen Clark Stinson Currie. Mrs. Dunn passed away Thursday, July 14, 2011. Survivors include her son, M.L. "Buddy" (Judy) Dunn of Dublin; daughter, Mary Ellen (Dalton) Bell of East Dublin; sister, Eugenia Currie Raffield of Dublin; two grandchildren, Lori (Bill) Hopkins and Matt (Hillary) Dunn; two great-grandsons, Lucas Hopkins and Kiptyn Dunn and two great-granddaughters, Savannah Hopkins and Kylie Dunn. Pallbearers will be Matt Dunn, Bill Hopkins and Lucas Hopkins, Sammy Currie, Freddy Dunn, Tommy Dunn and James Dunn. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home on Saturday from 9:00AM until 10:00AM.
