Graveside Services for Johnny Oscar Baggett, age 65, of Dublin will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 21, 2011, in Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Nolan McDaniel and Dr. Larry Daniel will officiate. Mr. Baggett was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. He was retired from Ryder and the Georgia Department of Transportation. He was the son of the late Roy Edwin Baggett, Sr. and the late Lantie Louise Warren Baggett. He was preceded in death by his spouse, Ann Ward Baggett, step-mother, Stella Peacock Baggett and several siblings, Thurston Baggett, Roy Edwin Baggett, Jr., Gurshen Baggett and Frances Baggett Coleman. Mr. Baggett passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2011. He is survived by a sister, Grace (Larry) Evans of Dublin and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews The men of Mount Zion Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
