Graveside services for Jordan Ray Hattaway, age 82, of Dublin, will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 8, 2014, at Marie Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Janice Laster will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mr. Hattaway died Friday, December 5, 2014. Mr. Hattaway was of the Baptist faith and worked at Roche Farm and Garden. He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Graham Hattaway; parents, Alton Ray Hattaway and Geneva Carr Hattaway; and stepmother, Thelma Cox Hattaway. Survivors include his children, Cathy (Hugh) Coleman, Danny (Susan) Hattaway, Gloria (Tony) Clay, Daphne (Jon) Moon; grandchildren, Clint Coleman, Kevin Coleman, Kelli Coleman, Carrie Burnham, Marisa Hattaway, Megan Slaughter, Macey Grubbs, Lance Newman, Travis Clay, RaeAnne Platt, Jonathan Moon, Jordan Moon, and Jadan Moon; great grandchildren, Daniel Coleman, Loretta Coleman, Keslie Burnham, Avery Grace Slaughter, Carmann Newman, Bryant Newman, Tucker Clay, and Railey Claire Clay; sister, Betty Hattaway McDade; and stepbrother, Olan (Buck) Shepherd. Clint Coleman, Kevin Coleman, Lance Newman, Travis Clay, Robert Evans, Jonathan Moon, will serve as pallbearers.
