Funeral services for Joyce Barron Fuqua, age 68, of Dublin will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday, September 18 2012 in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Rev. Brad Nowell will officiate. Burial will follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Fuqua died Saturday, September 15, 2012. Mrs. Fuqua was the daughter of Margarite Smith Barron and the late Prentice O. Barron. She was a homemaker, loving mother, daughter and grandmother and member of Dexter Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by husband Tal Fuqua and brother Phil Barron. Survivors include two sons, Baron (Nikki) Fuqua of Dexter and Jason Fuqua of Dublin, mother Margarite Smith Barron of Dexter, granddaughter Madison Fuqua of Dexter, two sisters-in- law, Beth Fordham and June Fuqua both of Dublin, brother-in-law Mike (Pat) Fuqua of Dublin, several nieces , nephews and cousins. Tony Johnson, Donnie Alligood, Stephen Smith, Costas Gust, Gary Simpson, Bobby Ray Smith and Dennis Ray Smith will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 3:00PM until 4:00PM Tuesday at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
