Services for Joyce Branch Walker, age 84, of Dublin will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 11, 2012 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Cole Morris will officiate. Mrs. Walker was the daughter of the late Isam Felton Branch and the late Mary Alma Ford. She passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Survivors include her husband, Paul E. Walker, of Dublin; son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Lynn L. Walker, of Cartersville; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela W. and Brian A. Tate, of McDonough; four grandchildren, Caroline and Jake Walker, both of Cartersville and Brandon and Brianna Tate, both of McDonough; brother-in-law, Harris F. Nobles of Gainesville, FL and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Walker's nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home on Saturday from 12:30 PM until funeral hour. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mrs. Walker's memory to Cedar Grove United Methodist Church or Serenity Hospice.
