Memorial services for Julie Nielsen Tiegs, age 53 of Dublin, will be held at 4:30PM on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Henry Memorial Presbyterian Church. Rev. W. Mark George will officiate. She died on Sunday, August 11, 2013. Mrs. Tiegs taught school for 21 years in Mississippi, Connecticut and Georgia. She was a member of Henry Memorial Presbyterian Church and part owner of the Green Bay Packers. She was a loving wife, devoted daughter and sister and the best mother. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Prochnow Nielsen. Survivors include her husband, Thomas Tiegs of Dublin; son, Jacob Ivan Tiegs of New York, NY; daughter, Jessica Christine Tiegs of Athens, GA; father, Lindbergh Nielsen of Waupaca, WI; brothers, Thad Nielsen of Quincy, IL and Mark Nielsen of Mundelein, IL and sister, Sue Nielsen of Racine, WI. The family will receive friends before the service from 3:30PM until 4:30PM at Henry Memorial Presbyterian Church. As this is a celebration of Julie's life, somber attire is not necessary.
