Graveside services for Katherine Roberts Kea, age 90 of Dublin will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday January 14, 2014 in the Kea's United Methodist Church Cemetery in Adrian. Dr. Jack Key and Dr. Joel Dent will officiate. She passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2014. Mrs. Kea was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Hudson Roberts and Willie Mae Mimbs Roberts, her husband, Joe S. Kea; brother, Walton Roberts, and three sisters, Marilyn Roberts, Carolyn Reese, and Julia Veal. She was a member of Kea's United Methodist Church and served as a volunteer at the Veterans Administration. Survivors include her daughter, JoAnn Bloodworth (Buddy) of Dublin; two granddaughters, Amie Loyd (Daymon) and Lisa Powell (Josh); four great grandchildren, Braden Loyd, Juliann Katherine Loyd, Joe Powell and Katherine Powell all of Dublin; two brothers, Emory Roberts of Sandersville and Freddie Roberts of Sparta; and several nieces and nephews. Daymon Loyd, Josh Powell, Hilary Burgamy, Chris Carswell, Ray Jones, and Bill Morrell will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home on Monday afternoon from 6:00PM until 8:00PM.
