Shelton Keith Haggard, age 50, of Dudley, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017.

Mr. Haggard was born in Laurens County and was a 1985 graduate of East Laurens High School. He was a member of Buckhorn United Methodist Church. Keith was employed with Oconee EMC for 28 years and was a devoted husband, loving father, and loyal friend.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Val and Malletha Haggard, and T.C. and Myrtice Darsey; step-mother, Betty Haggard; and step-brother, Steve Daniels.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Warnock Haggard, of Dudley; daughters, Shelby Haggard, of Dublin and Kaitlyn Haggard, of Dudley; father, Larry Haggard (Hilda), of Dublin; mother, Ernestine Darsey Haggard, of Dublin; sister, Kristie Yarborough, of Davisboro; step-brother, Kenny Daniels, of Dublin; step-sister, Kelly Sellers, of Dublin, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, October 27, 2017 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Jared Middleton and Mr. Dennis Waldrep will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Bacon, Gene Tolbert, Larry Swinson, Randy Lord, Jonathan Ramos, and Travis Cannon.

Honorary pallbearers will be current and former employees of Oconee EMC.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Gideon's International.
