Services for Kelly C. Fordham, age 84, of Cadwell, will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 14, 2013 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home with burial in Dublin Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Dr. Neal Wall and Rev. Jack Lee will officiate. Mr. Fordham was the son of the late Clessie F. Fordham and the late Susan Anna Wynne. He was a member of First Baptist Church in McRae and a former member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Cadwell serving as a Deacon. He attended Berry College, was a farmer and former owner of Cadwell Milling Co. and Cadwell Food Center, also working for the Macon Telegraph. Mr. Fordham was an avid fisherman and family man. Mr. Fordham passed away on Wednesday June 12, 2013 and was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his wife of sixty three years, Betty Jean Fordham of Macon, daughter, Alesia Fordham Evans of Macon; two sons, Ronald Lynn Fordham of Nevills, GA and Darren Tracy Fordham of Cordele, GA; sister Atha Howell of Jacksonville, FL, ten grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home Friday, June 14, 2013 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
