Kerry Crews Wicker, age 41, of Dublin, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 surrounded by her loving friends and family. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Kerry was an honor graduate of Brantley County High School. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at Brewton Parker College where she was a member of the College Choir and the Chi Alpha Omega Sorority. Kerry was a Dublin Laurens Leadership Alumni and employed with the South Central Health District as a special needs instructor for babies. She was a member of Crosspoint Community Church where she was involved in youth and children ministries. To know Kerry was to love her, and to be loved by her, was truly a gift. She was devoted to all the families she served through her job, but most of all to her husband and children. Kerry's joy was found in attending everything her children were involved in and she was a loyal friend to many. She never met a stranger and she was always willing to help others in need. Her infectious smile and devotion to others will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her. Kerry is preceded in death by her parents, Williams R. Crews and Aldine Crews; daughter, Hannah Faith Wicker; brother, Greg Crews, and brother-in-law, Kevin Wicker. Survivors include her husband, Thomas Wicker, of Dublin, GA; daughters, Maggie and Mylee Wicker, of Dublin, GA; birth mother, Kathy Cook, of Morristown, TN; birth father, David Hendrix, of Waycross, GA; brothers, Mike Crews (Valerie), of Hoboken, GA and Will Hendrix (Marissa), of Blackshear, GA; sisters, Marcie Grimsley (Scott), of Atkinson, GA and Carol Anne Elias (TJ), of Atlanta, GA; father-in-law, Billy Wicker (Grace), of Dublin, GA; brothers-in-law, Jeff Wicker (Bernadette), of East Dublin, GA and Jay Wicker (Laurie), of Dexter, GA; sister-in-law, Katrina Wicker, of Cadwell, GA; sister/cousin, Jill Campbell (Curtis), of Waycross, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and extended family. Those who knew Kerry best knew of her love for flip-flops.
