Services for Kim Michael Stuckey, age 48, of Rentz will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, November 16, 2010 in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Rev. Tommy Veal and Danny Duggar will officiate. Burial will follow at Northview Cemetery. Mr. Stuckey died Saturday, November 13, 2010. Mr. Stuckey was born in Dublin on May 14, 1962. His father was the late D. A. Stuckey. He was a 1980 graduate of Dublin High School and a graduate of Georgia College. He received a diploma in Welding and Joining Technology in March 2010. Mr. Stuckey was a teacher at West Laurens High School and a member of Grace Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Melinda Lumley Stuckey, son, Jacob Dallas Stuckey, and daughter, Hannah Lea Stuckey, all of Rentz; mother, Juanita Melton Stuckey, of Dublin; sister, Jodi (Jamie) Bush, of Swainsboro; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; his mother-in-law, Flora Mae Duck Lumley, of East Dublin; and father-in-law, Walt (Maggie) Lumley, of East Dublin. Johnny Payne, Glen Gillespie, Franz Bruckmair, Mike Crowder, Jerry Hall, Lynn Fordham, Cole Morris, Randy Wilkins, and Brian Carter will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Grace Baptist Church, 236 Brookwood Drive, Dublin, GA 31021.
