Services for Leo Bennett Kight, age 66 of East Dublin, will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 28, 2011 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Everette Foskey and Rev. Matt Haywood will officiate. Mr. Kight was a loving father and devoted husband. He loved his grandchildren and restoring old cars. He was preceded in death by his father, B.T. Kight. Mr. Kight died Sunday, December 25, 2011 at his residence. Survivors include his loving wife, Linda R. Kight of East Dublin; son, Bennett D. (Christina) Kight of Dublin; mother, Ruby E. Kight (Glenn) Dimmen of Dublin; brother, Thomas L. (Margaret) Kight of Lyons; sister, Bonnie (Randell) Petrie of Dublin; step-children, Ray (Judy) Knight of Covington, Lesia (Raymond) Evans of Dublin, Dawn (Scott) McDermitt of McRae, Cobbie Williams of East Dublin; two grandchildren, Braelen and Brody Kight; seven step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, stepbrothers and sisters, Rowe (Lisa) Dimmen, Wayne (Debbie) Dimmen, Bryce Dimmen, and Glennette Dimmen. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Stewart, Pee Wee Willis, Dallas Stewart, Robbie Petrie, Wayne Wilkes and Paul Sterling.
