Lillian Deloris Ingram Godby, age 83 of Dublin passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2014. The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home from 4:00PM until 6:00PM on Saturday, February 22, 2014. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at High Lawn Funeral Home in Oak Hill, WV from 4:00PM until 6:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 2:00PM in the High Lawn Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in High Lawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Godby was a homemaker. She married her husband Charles, December 3, 1943 and together they raised four children. She was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. Mrs. Godby was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie B.and Lydia Stauper Ingram. Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Charles Anderson Godby, Jr. of Dublin; sons, Charles David Godby of Murrieta, CA, Gary Joseph Godby of Blue Ridge, GA, Mark Alan Godby of Ocoee, FL and Michael Wayne Godby of El Canada, CA; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Harry Wayne Ingram of Colombia, MO and Denver Lynn Ingram of Tallahassee, FL; sisters, Elizabeth Gittinger, Carol Sue Harvey, both of Bellevue, OH and Faye Ingram of Beckley, WV.
