Linda DeAnn Evans formerly of Cadwell, Georgia and Sarasota, Florida lived life with a positive attitude, an appreciation of beauty, and a deep love for her family and friends. She passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2015 in Atlanta, Georgia surrounded by her family. Linda loved wine, classic literature, music, especially opera, art, and entertaining. She was always ready with a positive compliment and encouraging word to those around her, and she strived to see the best in every situation. She leaves behind many who loved her including: daughters Page Small and Gaelyn Evangreene, granddaughter DeAnn Small, stepdaughter Robyn Devlin, brother Randall Evans, sister Gail Evans Pang, as well as many more extended family members and wonderful friends. Linda was born in Cadwell, Georgia on March 18, 1945 to the late Clyde and Lavonia Evans. She was also preceded in death by her beloved sister Shirley Ann Mixon. She will be greatly missed, but her vibrant presence will shine on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Services will be held at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home on Saturday, November 7th 2015 at 2:00 with a visitation one hour prior to the service and burial following at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Thomas Murphy of Asheville, NC will officiate.
