Lola Davis, age 72, of Dublin, passed away on August 3, 2016.

Services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, August 6, 2016 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Chad Drew will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Ed Young, Eric Walker, Tyler Jones, Bobby Cannida, Bruce Wheatley, David Wilder and Trey Cannida. Honorary pallbearers will be the Adult Sunday School Class of Bethesda Baptist Church.

Mrs. Davis was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church. She retired from Apparel Brand, where she worked as a seamstress and supervisor. She was also prior owner of Davis Trucking. She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Lora Thaxton; father, Henry Lee Gunn and her husband, Billy Davis.

Survivors include her son, Ken Davis (Betty Jo) of East Dublin; daughter, Teresa Jackson (Paul) of Sandersville; grandchildren, Crystal Blue (Charles), Crystal Morgan (Michael), Angel Johnson (Kyle), Savannah Jackson and Joshua Jackson; great-grandsons, Collin McCoy, Payton McCoy, Prestand Blue and Peyton Blue; adopted grandson, Trey Cannida; sisters, Joyce Walker of Jacksonville, FL, Jean Dolvin of Crawfordville and Lille Davis (James) of Washington; brother, William Gunn (Joyce) of Eatonton; brother-in-law, James Davis (Brenda) of Wrightsville, and many nieces and nephews.
