Lonnette Davis Dominey, age 89, of Augusta, formerly of Dublin, passed away peacefully in her sleep December 8, 2021.

Mrs. Dominey was born in Blackshear to the late Lonnie Davis and Estelle Jordan Davis.  In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Robert Edwin (Ed) Dominey, and siblings Alden Davis, Osborne Davis, Edwin Davis, and Armilda Davis Gittings.

She is survived by her sister, Flora Davis Carter, and children Robert (Bob) E. Dominey Jr. (wife Theresa) and Anne Dominey Behne (husband Dan).  Grandchildren include Rebekah Dominey Trevithick (husband Caleb), Joe Dominey, John Dominey, Stephen Dominey (wife Rose), Scott Behne (wife Jessica), Rachel Behne, Mark Behne and Jake Behne.  Great grandchildren include Noah, Micaiah, John, Abediel and Miriam Trevithick, and Eleanor, Barrett, and Daniel Dominey.

Mrs. Dominey was a civil servant at Fort Rucker Army Hospital for many years.  She was a loving and supportive mother and grandmother, and great friend to all who knew her.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Northview Cemetery.
