Lynell Brown, age 81, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022 after an extended illness.

Mrs. Brown was the daughter of the late Owen Brown and Eudell Register Brown. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Ward, brothers, Donald Brown, Dearl Brown, Clifford Brown, Carl Brown, and Larry Brown, and a nephew, Chuck Brown. Mrs. Brown was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church and was retired from Washington County Board of Education as a busdriver.

She is survived by two sons, Joseph O'Quinn of Jasper, Florida and Terry O'Quinn of Statesboro, daughter Vicky Cole of Sandersville, seven grandchildren, Lisa Osborne, Kelli Osborne, Terry O'Quinn Jr., Billy Hurt (April), Victoria O'Quinn, Matthew O'Quinn, and Mindy Warren, sixteen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, three brothers, Tony Brown (Cheryl), Jerry Brown, and Ricky Brown (Judy),  and three sister-in laws, Patricia Brown, Frankie Brown, and Nan Brown, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 20, 2022 in Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 noon until service time. Interment will follow at Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery.
