Marion Lynn Sanders, age 63, of Dublin, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017. Mrs. Sanders was born on December 26, 1953 in Laurens County to the late Louis P. Ward, Sr. and the late Daisy McMullan Ward. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Dublin, where she was a Sunday School teacher. She was employed as a nurse at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center. Lynn was a devoted wife, cherished mother, and a beloved "Mimi" to CJ and Kaylee. Survivors include her husband, Freddie Sanders, of Dublin; daughter, Stacey Sanders, of Dublin; son, Jamey Sanders (Brittany), of Dublin; grandson, Chase Joel "CJ" Sanders; granddaughter, Kaylee Sanders; brother, Louis Ward, Jr.(Debbie), of Dublin; sister, Grace Moore (Jimmy), of Wrightsville; sister-in-law, Joy Evans (Hank), of Dublin; brother-in-law, Joe Sanders (Kathy), of Dexter; nieces and nephews, Mindy Stansfield (Brian) and Marcey Wells (Jeremy), both of Augusta, Molly Hensley (Alex), of Woodstock, GA, Daniel Moore (Mollie), of Georgetown, KY, Louisa Goodwill (Chris), of Douglas, Katie Antczak (Nik), of Hoboken, Alan Baggett, of Montrose, Dusty Baggett, of Dublin, and many great- nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 1, 2017 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Services will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Dublin. Burial will follow in Northview Cemetery. Dr. Cliff Morris will officiate. Pallbearers will be Daniel Moore, Alan Baggett, Dusty Baggett, Kaleb Sanders, Bryceton Sanders, and Greg Rogers.
