Services for Malcolm "Mack" Lyles, Jr., age 67 of Dublin, will be at 11:00AM on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Charity Baptist Church. Bro. Jim Fennell and Bro. Jimmy Sumner will officiate. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. He passed away on Monday, July 29, 2013. Mr. Lyles was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of the Laurens County Sportsman Club for over 30 years and prior to retirement worked as a supervisor with Easter Seals and Bassett Furniture Company. He was also a member of Charity Baptist Church. Mack was an avid fisherman and enjoyed softball, golf, basketball, bowling and woodworking. He loved life and his family and will be deeply missed. Mr. Lyles was preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm and Catherine Lyles, Sr. and a grandson, Cody Kenneth Lyles. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Kight Lyles of Dublin; children, Darin (Lisa) Lyles, Tammy (Hank) Cullens, Angie (Steve) Difazio, Kevin (Leigh) Lyles, all of Dublin, Steven (Pam) Brooks and Amy (Israel) Orlando, both of Rentz and Mark (Brooke) Soles of Adrian; brother, Ted Lyles of Lyons; grandchildren, Bryce and Jessica Moore, Kaloio Lyles, Nick and Will Davis, Derrick Gilbert, Jordan and Luke Difazio, Addisyn Lyles, Bridget, Taylor and Dawson Brooks, Dustin Warnock, Cassie Bennett, Jessie and Ethan Orlando and Channan, Emily, Andrea and Camden Soles and Kaitlyn Johnson; great-grandchild, Briar Gilbert as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be Will Davis, Bryce Moore, Matt Lyles, Jordan Difazio, Hugh Kight and Kenneth Kight. Honorary pallbearers will be Kurt Anderson and Pat Wilkinson. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. They may also be contacted at 918 Pinehill Road in Dublin.
