Services for Margie Ann Morgan, age 59, of Dublin, will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Woodland Heights Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Piney Mount Cemetery in Johnson County. Pastor Phil Tondee will officiate. Mrs. Morgan died Sunday, December 16, 2012. Mrs. Morgan was the daughter of the late Emory Francis and the late Ada Walls Francis. She was a homemaker and a member of Woodland Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Rex Allen Morgan, Sr., of Dublin; children, Rex Allen Morgan, Jr., of Cadwell, Dorothy Marie Carter, of East Dublin, Leroy Morgan, of Dublin, Lisa Lynn Smith, of East Dublin, and Amanda Crabb, of Cadwell; sisters and brothers, Betty Lee Gillis, Dorothy Francis, both of East Dublin, Earnest Francis, of Dublin, and Polly Ricks, of Alamo; twenty-seven grand and great-grandchildren children. Troy Morgan, Rex Morgan, Lee Morgan, Billy Francis, Roy Smith, and Joshua Edwards will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
