Graveside services for Maria Fernanda Smith, age 83 of Dublin will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, October 27, 2014 at Poplar Springs North Baptist Church. Rev. Stephen Pontzer will officiate. She passed away on Friday, October 24, 2014. Mrs. Smith was born in Portugal but lived most of her life in Ashburn, GA where she retired from the Ashburn Nursing Home. She had resided in Dublin for the past few years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel Oliveira and Maria Pacheco Oliveira. Survivors include her daughters, Janny Barnes of Dublin and Loraine (Tim) Farmer of Rebecca; grandchildren, Brian Barnes, Greg Barnes, Desiree Farmer and Joseph Farmer; great-grandchildren, Trustin McCoy, Grayson Farmer and Chloe Farmer and brothers, Tony (Lucia) Oliveria and Alvarino Oliveria.
