Graveside services for Marian P. Edwards, age 87, of Dublin, will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, August 8, 2016, at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Brad Ball and David W. Edwards, II will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Edwards died Friday, August 5, 2016.

Mrs. Edwards was a lifetime member of Bethsaida Baptist Church and a member of the Golden Keys Sunday School class. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her husband, B. W. Edwards; parents, W. W. and Bernice Joiner Perry; daughter, Susan E. Thomas; sisters, Yvonne Powell and Jewell Savage; and brothers, Felton Perry and James Perry.

Survivors include her children, Gail E. (Joe) Allen, of Dublin, David W. (Tabby) Edwards, of Canton, Bill W. (Susan) Edwards, of Tennille, and Cathy M. (Craig) Edwards, of Dublin; grandchildren, Paul (Jodie) Edwards, of Dublin, Shane (Ashley) Allen, of Macon, William (Michelle) Simpson, of Bonaire, David W. (Allessia) Edwards, II, of Newnan, Timothy (Amanda) Allen, of Dublin, Heather Andritsch, of Dublin, Susannah (Jody) Chance, of Danville, and Adam Edwards, of Canton; twelve great grandchildren; siblings, Vivian White, of Hoschton, Virginia Dupree, Ray Perry, Mary Ellen, Slaughter, all of Dublin, and Warren Perry, of Marietta.

Mrs. Edwards's grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
