Services for Marie Mobley Donaldson Bracewell, age 103, of Dublin will be held on Friday, March 25, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jay Moore and Mr. Ted Jarriel will officiate. Mrs. Bracewell was a member of Jefferson Street Baptist Church and a member of Easter Star and was the Past Worthy Matron. She was also a member of the Cane & Abel Choir and Home Demonstration Club. She served as a volunteer at the Carl Vinson VA Hospital. Mrs. Bracewell was the daughter of the late Alexander Wright Mobley and the late Lillian Southwell Mobley. She was preceded in death by her husbands, J.B. Donaldson, Sr. and J. Leonard Bracewell; daughter, Lillian E. Donaldson; son, J.B. Donaldson, Jr., and a grandson Ben Donaldson. Mrs. Bracewell passed away March 21, 2011. Survivors include her son, Henry (Susan) Donaldson of Midland, GA; grandsons, William (Kiely) Donaldson of Washington, DC and Jack (Monica) Donaldson of Orlando, FL; granddaughters, Jan Marie (Michael) Dysart of Lancaster, PA and Pamela Donaldson of Augusta, GA; daughter-in-law, Janice Donaldson of Augusta, GA; four great-grandsons, Will Donaldson and John Donaldson both of Washington, DC, Declan Donaldson of Orlando, FL and Chris (Jennie) Donaldson of Woodstock, GA; four great-granddaughters, Elisha (Jamie) Walden of Trenton, SC, Jennifer Dysart of Lancaster, PA, Katie Dysart of Lancaster, PA and Haley Donaldson of Augusta, GA; great-great-grandson, Caleb Donaldson of Woodstock, GA and great-great-granddaughter, Brianna Walden. William Donaldson, Jack Donaldson, Chris Donaldson, Jonathan Calvert, John Henry Pittman, and Carlton Pittman will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
