Graveside Services for Marjorie Ellington Bailey, age 92, of Dublin, will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, May 20, 2011, in Northview Cemetery. Rev. Earl Warnock will officiate. Mrs. Bailey was a member of East Dublin Baptist Church. She retired from Shamrock Manufacturing and was a homemaker. Mrs. Bailey loved reading, sewing, flowers and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Simeon Ellington and Willie Lee Evans Ellington, three brothers, Johnny Ellington, Charles Ellington and Jimmy Ellington and two sisters, Jeanne Ellington and Lillian Stuckey. Mrs. Bailey passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2011. She is survived by her daughter Anne Lovett of Dublin and two sons, John T. (Ruth) Bailey of Jacksonville, NC and C. Bruce Bailey of Ft. Valley, GA; 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; five sisters, Lois Crowder, Grace McEachern, Sue (Snig) Weaver all of Dublin, Joyce Jones of Macon and Eloise Hester of Hepzibah and numerous nieces and nephews.
