Martha Frances Gilbert Wood, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

Mrs. Wood was born November 7, 1950 to the late Johnny Talley and late Martha Griffin Talley. She worked for Zeigler Paint Contractors Inc. performing clerical work. She loved crafting, crocheting, and was known for her delicious pecan pies. Her greatest love was her grandchildren and spending time with them.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by her grandson, Ryan Barwick, and brother, Mike Talley.

Survivors include her daughter, Kim (Michael) Hadden of East Dublin; daughter, Pam (Chad) Graham of East Dublin; son Jay (Stephanie) Wood of Dexter; grandchildren, Colby Owens, Morgan Lee Owens, MiKaylie Hadden, Grant Graham, Kaitlin Graham, Cade Wood, and Bray Wood; and great-grandchild, Zoey "Bug" Graham.

A graveside service will be held Friday, January 6, 2023 at 11AM at Graham Memorial Nazarene Church Cemetery. Rev. Gregg Soles will officiate. The family will accept friends Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 5pm – 7pm at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Rob Lawhorn, Jamie Lawhorn, Mitch Lawhorn, Matt Sapp, Bobby LeRoy, Bill LeRoy, and Chad Odom.
