Graveside services for Mary Craig, age 83, of Dublin, will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Northview Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Martin and Rev. Chuck Bush will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Craig died Thursday, December 06, 2012. Mrs. Craig, born in Alamo, was the daughter of the late Dewey Young and the late Dora Redding Worley. She was a member of Galilee Christian Church in Jefferson, GA, and former owner/operator of Village Cleaners. Mrs. Craig was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Craig was preceded in death by her husband, Wilford Craig; sons, Danny Craig, and Roger Craig; and brothers, Bill Young, and J. H. Young. Survivors include her children, Elizabeth (Terry) Pullen, Johnny Craig, David (Brenda) Craig, all of Dublin, and Kay (Lewis) Maddox, of Cordele; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great- grandchildren; brother, Burrell Young, of Clayton; daughter-in-law, Brenda Craig, of Jefferson; and several nieces and nephews.
