Graveside Services for Mary Frances Williams Currie, age 92 of Milledgeville, will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, June 21, 2014 in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Mr. David Currie and Rev. Kyle Giddens will officiate. Mrs. Currie was born in Dublin, GA to the late Charles and Harvey Flanders Williams. She was a homemaker and member of Olivet Baptist Church. Mrs. Currie was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Baxley and was a loving wife and mother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel W. Currie, Sr. Mrs. Currie passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at her residence. Survivors include her sons, Sammy (Patsy) Currie of Dublin, Jim (Dee) Currie of Alpharetta, Bob (Sandra) Currie of Dublin and Tom (Melissa) Currie of Milledgeville; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Don Melton, Buddy Dunn, Sammy Currie, Bobby Currie, Jim Currie, Tom Currie and Brent Currie. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donation be made to Harmony Hospice, 110 Harmony Crossing, Suite 1, Eatonton, GA 31024 or to Olivet Baptist Church Building Fund, 1689 Hwy 19 South, Dublin, GA 31021.
