Graveside Services for Mary Lee Harvey, age 85 of Dublin, will be held at 2:30PM on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Larry Daniels will officiate. Mrs. Harvey was a lifelong resident of Laurens County and a homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and the Senior Adult Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Minnie Schell Swymer; husband, Lewis Ronald Harvey; two sisters and three brothers. Mrs. Harvey passed away on Friday, October 11, 2013. Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl (Glenis) Gay of Dublin; son, James (Faye) Harvey of Eastman; grandchildren, Jason Harvey of Florida, Kevin Harvey, Laura (Chip) Smith of Atlanta and Rodney Gay (Jessica Coleman) of Dublin; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; sister, Marion Slover of Dublin and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Deacons of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Keith Brooks and Josh Warnock. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
