Graveside Services for Mary Ellen Newsome, age 73 of Dublin, will be held at 3:30 PM Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the Northview Cemetery. Rev. Matt Haywood will officiate. Mrs. Newsome died, Thursday, March 17, 2011. Mrs. Newsome was preceded in death by her parents, William Robert Devaney and Nana Lee Crab Devaney and a sister-in-law, Jessie Mae Russell. She was a retired seamstress from Bil-Jo Garmet Company. She was of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by her husband, JB Newsome; two sons, Billy Allen and Danny Allen; two daughters, Darlene Giles (Rex) and Cindy Wilkinson (Donald); two sisters, Christine Holton and Barbara Woodard; five brothers, Aaron Devaney (Denise), Allen Devaney, Charles Devaney, Terrie Devaney (Diane), and Earl Devaney and a step sister, Doris Alligood all of Dublin, GA. Twelve Grandkids and Fifteen Great Grandkids. Brandon Wilkinson, Derrick Wilkinson, Shawn Wilkinson, Josh Wilkinson, Steve Russell Randy Russell, Jamie Allen, and Chris Allen will serve as pallbearers. Christy Giles will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
