Mary Frances Wells Poole Ussery, age 61 of Dublin, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Services will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, August 1, 2014 at Cornerstone Assembly of God. Burial will follow in Corinth United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Wayne Nichols, Rev. Eddie Rudd and Mr. Jeffery Wells will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00PM until funeral hour at the church. Mary Frances Ussery was a native of Dublin and lived there all of her life with the exception of a few years living in Anaheim, California while her late husband was in the U.S. Marine Corps. She worked for the Dublin Courier Herald at the time of her death. She was a faithful member of the Cornerstone Assembly of God where she also participated in outreach ministries and visitation of the elderly and disabled. She enjoyed gospel music and was always with a good cup of coffee in her hand. Mary Frances was preceded in death by her father, William F. Wells; husband, Joel A. Poole and daughter, Amber Shea Ussery. Survivors include her mother, Lula Mae Wells, of Dublin; daughter, Angela Poole Moore (John) of Hanahan, SC; son, Chad A. Poole of Dublin; brothers, Lloyd Clayton Wells (Sherry) of Mt. Vernon, Steve Wells of Eastman and Mike Wells (Tabby) of Dublin; sister, Belinda Smith (David) of Dry Branch; grandchildren, Ashley K. Moore, John David Moore, Jr., Jaylan Ricks and Jaci Ussery all of Hanahan, SC, Damian K. Ussery of East Dublin, Cooper and Camdyn Poole of Soperton and Gracie Peek of Macon. Pallbearers will be Ben Ruple, Fred Houston, Russ Gowin, Larry Echols, Jeff Hood and Lane Ross.
