Services for Mary "Joan" Knight White, age 78 of Dublin, will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Pastor Dwayne Clements will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bluewater Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. White was a native of Laurens County. She was a Member of Jefferson Street Baptist Church. She loved her family and spending time with them was her greatest joy. She set a Godly Example for all who she came in contact with. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rowie A. Bridges and Lola Moye Bridges and her husbands, W. C. Knight and William White, brother, Rowie "Sonny" Bridges, sister in law, Lorrell "Lola" Bridges and great grandson, Kooper Knight. Mrs. White passed away Saturday. Survivors include her children, Curtis (Mary Fox) Knight of Carrollton TX, Karen (Robert) Knight White of Rentz, Glenn Knight of Dublin, Sandra Knight Gore of Rentz, Steve Gore of Dublin, grandchildren, Kevin (Kayla) Knight, Joshua (Roxy) White, Jordan White, Jacob White, Albert (Kasey) Whitley, Jered Gore, Laura (Kale) Gore Pullen, Crystal (Brian) Knight Kimsey, great grandchildren, Kyle Knight, Kambree Whitley, Jordan Kimsey, Hunter Kimsey, Brylee Pullen, brother, Gerald (Ellen) Bridges, sister, Betty Jane (Edward) Clements, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home, Tuesday, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Tuesday.
