Services for Maudie Bracewell Bedingfield, age 95, of Rentz will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday June 20, 2011, in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rentz City Cemetery. Rev. Wilbur Sheffer will officiate. Mrs. Bedingfield died Friday, June 17, 2011 in Social Circle. Mrs. Bedingfield was formerly employed with Dublin Garment Company. She attended The Church of God of Prophecy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira Bracewell and Maudie McKinney Bracewell, her husband, Henry Robert Bedingfield, and her son, Darrell Bedingfield. Survivors include her daughters, Madge Cox, of Milledgeville, Merlin (Benny) Beck, of Gray, Gail (Glenn) Purvis, of Mansfield, and Judy (Wyman) Crain, of Social Circle; twelve grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Abby Hospice in Social Circle. The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 5:00PM until 7:00PM.
