Services for Max Patisaul, age 72 of Dublin will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 24, 2011 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Max was a lifelong resident of Laurens County. He was the son of the late Charlie Milton Patisaul and the late Clara Belle Cardell Patisaul. He was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church. Mr. Patisaul formerly worked in retail grocery and then for Lifetime Cabinet Company. He was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Adger, Clayton, Harrell, Edsel, and Lester Patisaul and 1 sister, Jewel Payne Survivors include his sisters, Ruth (Marcus) Walker of Bonaire, Virginia Haralson of Warner Robins, and Helen (Delton) Hawkins of Perry, longtime friends and caregivers, Chris Lamb and David Cooke, several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home Thursday from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
