Services for M.C. "Lack" Faulk, age 83, of Dublin will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Oakdale Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. W.L. Currie will officiate. Mr. Faulk was the son of the late L.D. Faulk and the late Alef Purvis Faulk. He was a member and deacon of Oakdale Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer. In addition to his parents, Mr. Faulk was preceded in death by an infant son, and a brother, Doris Faulk. Mr. Faulk died Wednesday, January 18, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Bryleen Cofield Faulk, of Dublin; three sons, Kenny (Kathy) Faulk, Bennett Faulk and Reggie (Sylvia) Faulk, all of Dublin; four grandchildren, Cale, Cody, Emma and Rye Faulk, all of Dublin and one great-grandchild, Cason Faulk of Dublin. Pallbearers will be Chuck Shepard, Steve Shepard, Henry Purvis, Harvey Purvis, Dan Purvis and H.W. Purvis. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
