Mickey V. Johnson, age 62 of Minter, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015. Services will be held at 3:00PM on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Minter Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Kenny Rowland and Rev. Curt Poole will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mr. Johnson was a graduate of East Laurens High School. He worked with SCM Sack Company as a sheet metal superintendent and was a member of East Dublin Dayspring Worship Center. He was a family man and hard worker who loved cooking, watching western movies, and NASCAR. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Bernice Johnson; brother, Ellis Johnson; grandchild, Brayzen Johnson and niece, Angi Johnson. Survivors include his wife, Mabre Screws Johnson of Dublin; children, Kimberly Johnson Watson (Eric) and Tammie Diane Johnson of Dublin and Christopher Michael Johnson (Michelle) of East Dublin; grandchildren, Avery Collins, Courtney Collins, Zach Collins, Jordan Wallace, Greyson Watson, Austin Johnson, William White, Cameron White, Katherine Johnson and Jayden Ricks; brother, Paul Johnson (Geraldine) of Dublin; sisters, Ruth Johnson and Betty Scarborough (Andy) both of Dublin; sister-in-law, Janice Johnson and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pallbearers will be Alvin Johnson, Chuck Johnson, Shawn Scarborough, Ronnie Screws, Robert Screws, Virgil Screws and Jerry Screws. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Shepard, Buddy Hester, Eric Shepard and Brian Nutting.
