Funeral services for Mildred Maddox Crooms, age 87, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 27, 2023 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home with burial to follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Crooms was born March 7, 1936 in Dublin, Georgia; she was preceded in death by her parents, the late Huby Maddox and Eunice Scarborough Maddox, her husband, Willie Crooms, a son, Ronnie Crooms and three brothers, Earl Maddox, Thomas "Shirt" Maddox and Ben Maddox. She was retired from Belk as a Sales Clerk and was a member of Daysprings Baptist Church. Mrs. Crooms passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023.

She is survived by her sisters, Elaine Fountain of East Dublin and Frances (Charlie) Oliver of Wrightsville; a brother, Hubert M. (Teresa) Maddox of Unadilla and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at the funeral home.

The family would like to give a very special thank you to the staff of Agape Hospice and Dublinair Health Care & Rehab Center.

Pallbearers will be Jason Fountain, Greg Oliver, Dan Maddox, Dave Maddox, Tim Maddox and Kenny Crooms.
