Obituary

Mildred Perry, age 75, of East Dublin, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020.

Mrs. Perry was a homemaker and retired from Flextsteel Industries. She was a member of Brewton Baptist Church and loved to cook and watch soap operas. She also loved country music and making pecan pies with the pecans she picked up herself. Mrs. Perry worked hard in her garden and was a very compassionate person. She was devoted to her family and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law who will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Myers; mother, Elsie Jackson Myers Bryant; daughter, Brenda Kay Hall; grandsons, Joseph Alan Myers and Donald Thomas Edge, and also several siblings.

Survivors include her husband, Mitchel Perry, of East Dublin; daughters, Deborah Myers Dent (Tony Lee), of Soperton, and Kimberly Edge (Keith), of Soperton; grandchildren, Michelle Edge, Ethan Edge (Anna), Jessica Garrett (Rodney), and Quentin Hall; great-grandchildren, Madalynn Edge, Emma Garrett, Katie Garrett, and Benjamin Garrett; sister, Wanda Myers, and brother, Ed Myers, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Kelly Maddox will officiate.

Townsend Brothers Funeral Home and Staff respectfully ask all in attendance to follow social distancing guidelines .
