Mona Faye Veal, age 87, of Dublin, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017. Services will be held at 3:00PM on Friday, September 8, 2017 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Northview Cemetery. Rev. Tommy Pulliam will officiate. Pallbearers will be Dusty Veal, Justin Veal, Colby Veal, Kyle Register, Jonathan Register, and Tommy Hudson. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Veal was a homemaker and a member of Wheeler Baptist Church in Macon, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Lewis Veal; son, Douglas Lewis Veal, Jr.; parents, Eddie and Myrtle Harden; grandson, Joshua Dean Veal; brothers, Bert Harden and Ronald Harden and sister, Colleen Warnock. Survivors include her daughter, Patsy Veal Carter, of Dublin; sons, Eddie Dean Veal (Monica), of Dublin and Melvin Lee Veal (Cindy), of East Dublin; sister, Shirley Harden Hudson; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
