Myrtice Joiner Dixon, age 95 of Dublin, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2014. Mrs. Dixon was born January 14, 1919 to the late Joel Jordan Joiner and the late Minnie Cannon Joiner. She was a graduate of Dublin High School Class of 1936 and retired from Oxford Industries. Mrs. Dixon was a lifelong member of Bluewater Baptist Church and the Ada Arthur Sunday School Class. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Broughton Dixon, Sr. and son, Wade Broughton Dixon, Jr. She is survived by one grandson, Justin Wade Dixon and one granddaughter, Caitlin Elizabeth Dixon, both of Jacksonville, FL. Services will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Bluewater Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00PM until funeral hour at the church. Rev. Gene Hemingway and Rev. Kelly Maddox will officiate. Pallbearers will be Joel Kennedy, Ben Snipes, Joe Simpson, Mark Maxwell and David Maxwell. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Ada Aurthur Sunday School Class.
